Lagos has over 3,000 registered food markets and an estimated 100,000 active food merchants. Platform operators — delivery apps, aggregators, B2B buyers — onboard these merchants once, run a compliance check, and then assume everything is fine. It rarely is.

By day 30 most merchants are unmonitored. By day 90 compliance state is unknown. By the time a food-safety incident or consumer fraud surfaces, the damage is done.

We built Evodira to solve the continuous verification gap — the space between onboarding and incident that existing tools completely ignore.

Evodira is a merchant trust platform that runs continuously in the background. We combine structured evidence collection, six AI model families, a 9-component risk score, and a human review layer into a single API-first service.

• Merchants submit photo evidence on a configurable schedule.
• AI models assess quality, scene correctness, hygiene signals, and fraud indicators.
• Risk scores update in real time and are surfaced via embeddable Trust Badges.

Evodira was founded by a team with backgrounds in food safety regulation, fintech infrastructure, and applied machine learning. We are based in Lagos and operate infrastructure across West Africa and the EU.
